Teen Choice Awards 2016: "Pretty Little Liars" räumt ab!
Bereits zum 18. Mal fanden am Sonntagabend in Hollywood die Teen Choice Awards statt. In dutzenden Kategorien aus Film, Fernsehen, Musik, Mode und Internet gewannen unter anderem die Schauspieler Chris Evans (35) und Chloë Grace Moretz (19) die Preise in Form von Surfbrettern. Zu den Abräumern des Abends gehörte aber die auch in Deutschland bekannte und beliebte Serie Pretty Little Liars.
Sechs Surfbretter konnte das Ensemble von "Pretty Little Liars" am Ende des Abends mit nach Hause nehmen. Die Mystery-Crime-Serie um eine Mädelsclique gewann unter anderem in der wichtigen Kategorie Choice TV Drama. Die gesamte Besetzung - Ian Harding (29), Tyler Blackburn (29) , Shay Mitchell (29), Ashley Benson (26), Lucy Hale (27), Troian Bellisario (30), Janel Parrish (27) und Sasha Pieterse (20) - freute sich gemeinsam auf der Bühne über den Preisregen. Für die "Pretty Little Liars" und die anderen Gewinner waren die Auszeichnungen etwas ganz Besonderes, weil sie nicht von einer Fachjury, sondern vom Publikum vergeben werden. Über die Gewinner hatten Fans zuvor im Internet entschieden.
